| Animal Time |
An artist friend has ducks that visit her pool on a regular basis. Watching them traipse around her garden and take dips in the pool allow her many moments of relaxation and enjoyment. Humming birds also zip around her place and she has managed on a few occasions to snap some quick photos before they vanished.
Sitting with pets or watching creatures out in the garden can be a great way to get in touch with all that's good. Which animals will touch your world this week?
The sparrows who make an annual home in the birdhouse we have on the outside of our home will chatter, sing, and go about their business within a few feet of me as I go about my business in my kitchen. I love their companionship. I'll also enjoy the activities of the starlings who nest annually in a spot created by the architecture of our freestanding garage, a spot I can see from the windows over our kitchen sink. "Our" sparrows and starlings keep me humble; once their babies come—soon, I think—they are unflagging in their doing what is in front of them to do.

Love these drawings!! Nice thoughts. I love animals, especially dogs. My dogs make me laugh from my soul. So fun to just sit and watch outside from the patio. And watching animals watching other animals- a double treat!
